Electric vehicle charging
Airport and Harford Park & Ride sites already have units installed for users of the Park & Ride. Just park up in one of the designated spaces, plug in and scan your payment card, then take your usual journey into the city for work or a fun day out!
Norfolk County Council are rolling out a programme of introducing electric vehicle charging units across our sites. Please look out for future news for more sites as and when they are completed.

All of our sites are equipped with CCTV and hold the Park Mark Safer Parking award.
Yes, at our Postwick site, all we ask is that you keep through-routes clear. Overnight parking is not permitted.
The exit barriers will rise on slow approach, if you are dropped off by taxi or a friend you will need to be dropped at the entrance gate. Please note overnight parking is not permitted, so you must collect your car to avoid a fine. Many services are now operating later, please check the timetable.
Sites are now open 7 days a week, typically 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after the first and last bus.
We do have open sided cycle shelters at all sites (except Postwick which just has cycle loops). Sites are not manned and cycles are parked at the owners risk.
Norwich Park & Ride offers discounted fares of £2 per pass holder, valid anytime.
Parking is free to Park & Ride users, just park your car and pay for your bus fare on the bus or via the bus operator’s mobile app (if available).
Terms & Conditions
The use of the car parks is controlled by Norfolk County Council Park and Ride Sites (off-street parking places) Order 2014. A copy of this order can be inspected during office hours at County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich, NR1 2SG.
In Summary
- All vehicles must park within marked parking bays.
- Customers may not park without using the Park & Ride service or displaying a valid permit.
- Vehicles exceeding 7.5 tonnes, trailers and touring caravans are not permitted to park within the site.
- Vehicles parked in the disabled bay must have a valid disabled clock displayed on the dashboard.
- Camping/overnight parking is not permitted.
- Instruction of pupils undertaking driving lessons is not permitted.
- Travel is only permitted with the correct bus ticket.
- Norfolk County Council and its agents will not be responsible for injury to any person using this car park not for losses or damage to their vehicle or property however arising.
- Vehicles are parked entirely at owners’ own risk.
